FRIEZE-TIME 11-14 OCTOBER
Hordes of shiny Eurotrash, bespectacled 'creatives' and braying trust-fund Tillys; the crowd is as much spectacle as the art. It may be home of the painfully self-aware but no matter what Frieze is always worth the extortionate entrance fee. Check out Robb Pruitts ACTUAL 'fleamarket' and get ready to cue your ass off for the Chapman Bros at the White Cube stand. The boys will be on hand to scribble all over your paper money for free (to end up on the 'bay by closing time no doubt).
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

KEN RUSSELL - TEDDY GIRLS (1955)
Ken Russell: Not 'bumbling old fart on celeb Big Brother' but the guy who brought us the eye-poppingly amazing photo essay 'Teddy girls'. Style-wise this is inspiration central for me...

LONDON FASHION WEEK SS08-PART 1
A interesting LFW, covered brilliantly by many of our fine fashion blogs. A few of my fave moments from the week.
The brilliant Miss Stoldal's installation at bstore, an interesting alternative to the usual catwalk show. Sleeping boys, a water covered floor and the unsettling feeling that something very strange was just about to happen...
